- oops sorry about that. its a windows (winsock obviously) deamon for ftp. its
- just a site program so people can ftp to you and give and recieve the program.

- yuo have an apple talk program for windows(or dos) is it commercial or

- I agree that the new package will be really good... when its done. The dos
- memory that it frees up makes it an extremely welcome change from the previous
- version (which I found unusuable). The new beta version only failed me on two
- programs. Unfortunately, those are my two most used programs. QVTNet had a
- very odd problem of dropping every sixth or seventh outgoing packet or so.
- Very strange. xwindemo also had a problem with opening connections. It would
- give an error something like: Cannot open rsh socket. Operation in progress.
- If you were persistant and tried it four or five times it would eventually
- work. The connections you opened wouldn't close, however. You had to force
- quit the program to close the client windows.
- Provided they work these bugs out, and we see the Windows dynamic name
- resolution and ip rerouting (very cool!), this will be the first good bit of
- networking code to come from Microsoft.
